Growing up with a dog is not the easiest thing in the world, but it can be the sweetest thing. Nicole Finn had a bulldog named Augustus which passed away. She knew she needed to get another dog, and so they did.

They thought they were crazy to do so as their daughter was only turning a year old and yet they brought an eight-week-old bulldog home. They knew that it was essential to have a dog in the house, so they risked it.

What they did not expect was for them to fall in love as quickly as they did with Esther. Esther is such a happy dog where her favorite game is hide and seek. There is not much hiding when it comes to Esther as part of her body will always show.

The only thing that Esther love more than hide and seek is Nancy’s daughter, Bean. They have grown up together where the couple has taught them different things together. What to do and what not to do type of lessons.

Esther seems to like Bean’s toys more so she would get them from Bean. Yes, it was a disaster, but a beautiful one. Esther is very protective of her sister and loves her dearly.

She would always find ways to make her laugh and giggle — such sweet sounds to hear from a child. The couple grew up with dogs and knew how vital it is to grow up with them.

Having a dog teaches one to be kind and patient. Seeing their daughter learn those traits is a reward in itself. Something that may have been harder to teach without the presence of Esther.

Bean and Esther are sisters by hearts. They have grown together, will continue to grow together and will learn from each other. This is a relationship that Bean can look back on and feel grateful for.
