The pittie Zeus is energetic and has a very outgoing personality, and could easily be considered as an extrovert. The 18-year-old cat Kitty, however, was the exact opposite as she was really reserved and valued space. When they met, Zeus already couldn’t handle his excitement but Kitty was having none of it.

Zeus was all over Kitty’s space and business ever since Zeus’ mom took him home where Kitty lives. He would try and do anything to grab Kitty’s attention but Zeus was pretty juiced up and Kitty didn’t appreciate so much enthusiasm. Kitty’s preservation of her personal space against Zeus went on a while.

Eventually, Kitty slowly got used to this hyperactive playmate of hers and just accepted his presence. Kitty started grooming Zeus and he calmed down whenever Kitty was grooming him. This was their bonding and the start of their special connection with each other. Since then, the two actually became good friends and matched each other’s lifestyles.

They compromised the middle ground of activity and energy output. They’ve had a good time with each other for two years until Kitty had some complications with her health and passed on.

Zeus was visibly troubled about Kitty’s passing. He was no longer as active and he would sit and stand by places where Kitty used to be. It was about a week and a half but Zeus still had low energy without Kitty’s presence. His mom wanted him to be active again so she tried to find him a new friend.

Then Roscoe, the bearded dragon or also known as an iguana, came and Zeus was intrigued by this new majestic creature. Zeus was inquisitive of his new buddy and he soon regained some of his energy to try and play with Roscoe. Roscoe wasn’t super keen on playing as much but Zeus tries his best to convince him.

Unsure of how Roscoe plays, Zeus would just bark and jump trying to see how Roscoe would react. Just like with Kitty, Zeus understood that Roscoe just wants to sit together. Eventually, Zeus and Roscoe became close buddies sitting together in the afternoon sun and sharing a bed.

Zeus had a special place for Kitty but now she’s no longer around to play with him, he’s being a good playmate to Roscoe. He lets Roscoe climb on him and they sleep together although sometimes Roscoe gets to the bed first and Zeus doesn’t bother moving him. A friendship truly on a different scale.
