People who don’t have pet dogs at home think that they could define a pooch just by their breed. They presume that a German Shepherd is a good police dog, that a Labrador is a good swimmer, and that a Greyhound is an excellent runner.
Although some of these may be true, they don’t define the whole personality of a dog. Like us humans, our puppers are so much more than what their breeds suggest. Our furballs have their own little quirks that make them unique, and these make us love them even more.
Take, for instance, the case of Sparky, a goofy pooch that belongs to a vet assistant named Kennedy. This Italian Greyhound became popular on the internet, not because he could run fast, but rather because of his goofy antics. He likes bearing his teeth when taking photos, and he thought of a genius way to get Kennedy to stop taking selfies with him.
The dog dad met his fur baby at the vet’s clinic where he is working. Sparky was receiving treatment for one of his front legs, and his previous humans were too scared for their pooch. Although they loved their fur baby so much, they decided to rehome him, as they couldn’t cater to Sparky’s needs all the time.
That’s when Kennedy stepped forward. The kind-hearted vet’s assistant adopted Sparky, and the two have had a great relationship so far. Not long after, Sparky’s injured leg had to be amputated, but that did not stop the pupper from living his best life!
Kennedy shared that the goofy pooch basically became his therapy dog. Sparky would cuddle with him and lick his arms whenever he’s stressed out.
But what made this furry goofball an internet celebrity is the way he acts whenever his dad takes photos of him. Sparky would basically hang his head backward and play dead so that Kennedy would just give up trying to convince him to take selfies.
