Maddie Krasno posted a story on one of her Instagram accounts called Living With Pickles that she was going to a livestock auction. Emma Brayfield, one of Maddie’s followers, noticed the update and decided to watch it.

Maddie shared that everyone at the event told her not to bid on the dog named Brian, who was included at the auction because they feel the poor pup would not do well in a traditional home environment. Emma saw how pitiful Brian’s condition was because he looked like he needed a lot of love and care, so she decided to reach out to Maddie.

Emma told Maddie that Brian seemed like a great guy and that she was looking for a dog to adopt. Emma and Maddie eventually met up and recalled that everything just clicked, so she ended up adopting Brian.

Emma recalled that Brian was terrified of everything when she first got him. Brian never fails to jump at the slightest noise, and he always looked restless.

Emma shared that she purposely made many loud noises and quick movements around Brian to show him that it is not a big deal if those things happen. Brian eventually started to react less towards it as time passed.

Emma shared that she works with an organization called A Purposeful Rescue, and they asked her if she could take care of another dog named Stringer. Brian and Stringer got along so well, so she adopted him.

Emma eventually introduced Brian and Stringer to her horse named Mikko. Brian’s confidence grew with each passing day after letting them get to know one another on their terms, and the three of them became best friends.

Brian learned how to play, wrestle, and he even started becoming more interested in toys. Emma said that she is proud of how far Brian has come and that he would not come out of his shell without Stringer and Mikko.
