As if the pandemic hasn’t brought enough heartbreaking news to last us all a lifetime, a former reality show star recently experienced her share of tragic news when she had to say goodbye to her canine companion.
Danielle Staub, who’s an alumna of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, penned an emotional tribute in light of the passing of her 14-year-old canine companion named Fendi. She announced the sad news via Instagram, where she uploaded a selfie together with her late chihuahua. The 58-year-old took the opportunity to thank the little pup in a heart-clenching caption.
She expressed how difficult it was to describe the sorrow and pain they felt over Fendi’s passing. She then thanked her sweet baby girl for giving her the best 14 years that anyone could ask for. The American TV reality star described the late darling as her best friend, companion, and continuous joy source. She also said she is lost without her and said she wants her to find her peace.
Straub ends her emotional caption by calling Fendi her angel, whom she loved more than words.
News of Fendi’s passing comes two weeks after Staub commemorated National Puppy Day together with her furry friend. She chose to celebrate the special occasion by uploading a picture of her canine companion on what appeared to be a red carpet. And it seemed to be a happier time for the reality star who expressed her love for the little darling who was her constant source of smiles.
Last year, during a cooking tutorial for her YouTube channel, Staub revealed that Fendi served as an inspiration for her, prompting her to create a burger named after the beloved pup. She previously quipped that her pet was familiar with the recipe made up of one pound of ground beef.
Run free in doggy heaven, Fendi! We’re confident your mommy misses you and would be making lots of burgers in your honor!
